MOTHER'S DAY

In every December 22, Indonesia has mother's day celebration. This is a special moment to respect every mothers-role in their life-span. Every children knows that the day is very important to their mothers therefore they take over to do what their mothers do as usual. Not only children but also their fathers do the same thing and/or take over any kind of mother's work at home. They are also giving any special gifts to their mothers. Unfortunately, it is happened only one time in a year.

In some other cases, mother's day moves on to any form of ceremonies. Eventually, the hope that mother's day to be a special day on respecting mother's life, it is only to be what has to remember. (ma'arif jamuin)   

A WONDERFUL MOMENT

It's a great moment of graduation. The togetherness with my brilliant students at the Islamic Education Programme, the Islamic Studies Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, at December 1, 2015. We celebrate a warm relation as long as the time of learning-teaching processes within the year time of 2015. We got a lot of meaningful in the mid of learning and teaching experiences. TAMPILKAN MUSIK AKUSTIK

Grup Band Senior Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta yang dikenal dengan nama NADA PAI KITA, tampil dengan performance elegan di acara Pelepasan Wisudawan Periode IV, Tahun 2015. Lagu-lagu yang dinyanyikan semua serba lembut dan menyentuh hati. Semua lagu dikemas serba akustik. Tampilan ini berbeda dari sejumlah pentas yang sudah berlalu yang dikemas serba rock dan slow rock.

Selain NADA PAI KITA, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam juga sedang meyiapkan Grup Band Yunior, yang diberi nama PAI SOULFUL. Lagu-lagu yang dipersiapkan lebih condong ke genre blues, bossanova dan jazzi dalam kerangka tembang kenangan. Smoga kelar di semester depan untuk menyambut mahasiswa baru tahun akademik 2016-2017, aamiin. (Ma'arif Jamuin)

BLUES AND JAZZ WORKSHOP

Another scene in the mid of workshop on how to play musical instruments in blues and jazz genre to the Islamic Education Students, the Islamic Studies Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. They were doing it as a form of enhancing their capacity to play many musical instruments in that genre. All of those are to push their eager on making better in their future performing event. WISUDA PERIODE IV

Fakultas Agama Islam melakukan selebrasi pelepasan wisudawan dan wisudawati periode IV pada tanggal 1 Desember 2015. Mereka yang ikut selebrasi periode ini berjumlah 39 orang dari Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Hukum Ekonomi Syariah. Sementara Prodi Ilmu Alquran dan Tafsir baru memasuki semester 3. Wisudawan Prodi HES termuda (19 tahun 10 bulan), tercepat (3 tahun 4 bulan) dan terbaik (IPK 3.92) diraih Nur Rizki Febriandika, kader Pondok Hajjah Nuriyah Shabran, asal Jepara. (Ma'arif Jamuin)
